Extremely vigorous growth makes this excellent for growing into trees and hedges. Semi-double, single, white flowers with a strong fragrance held in clusters.
An extremely vigorous old rambler which is excellent for growing into trees and hedges. Masses of highly scented, open, semi-double white flowers are borne in large clusters in summer followed by attractive hips in autumn. Leaves are healthy and grey-green. Will grow on a north-facing wall. Introduced before 1900.
